  1. I don’t think you ever mentioned what temperature to cook it at. Yes 30 minutes per side several times. My oven has a dial to control the temperature, doesn’t yours?

  2. The best way is to put the leg quarters in Buttermilk for about an hour before cooking, Drain, and then add the seasonings. Makes the Chicken taste awesome.Throw in some Quartered Potatoes seasoned with ground Sage and Rosemary, and you have a great meal.

  3. Love chicken leg quarters. But I don’t use flour; Flour, to me, makes the skin of the chicken very soggy… I use brown sugar, salt, pepper, chili powder, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil and bake it in a 400 degree oven for an hour. Pretty simple. 🙂

  4. @FunnyChloeMichelle Since chickens don’t produce milk,I don’t think it will be a big deal. But you could probably use margarine or oil.

  5. Great recipe, worked well. I have a question… no matter how I prepare or make my chicken, it ALWAYS bleeds. Any tips from anyone?

  6. Chicken quarters are sooo easy to make its cool.. I don’t know how to cook for crap but I just put some squeezed limes on it with pepper and some garlic salt and left the lime rhines in it.. Set the oven to 325-350 and left it for 1 1/2 hrs (I wanted to make sure they were done for my 1st time) and came out perfect. I was amazed that I made something tasty (this is from a 26 year old bacholer that doesn’t know how to cook )

  7. I made this for dinner tonight. the chicken was so tastey and juicy! spent $7 on 6 quarter pieces, $2 on rice and fresh green beans. I made a simple salad with lettuce i had in the fridge already. So economical! my daughter’s boyfriend joined us as well as my son’s classmate. they both could not stop talking about how great dinner was. Ill make this again!!!
